Charleston Rotary: Business After Coronavirus
Mon, Apr 27, 2020 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT
Tom Crouser, contributing columnist for the Charleston Gazette-Mail, will address Businesses After Coronavirus in this first ever virtual meeting of the Charleston Rotary Club. Tom is in his fourth year of a weekly opinion column earning him the nickname of “Tuesday Tommy” as well as the WV Press Association’s designation as 2019’s Best News Columnist. Tom is an active business consultant with clients throughout the US operating from his home place at Mink Shoals. The Board thanks Tom for his willingness to be our presenter for first virtual meeting ever!
This meeting will be held using the GoToMeeting platform. This week, you will receive an email from Deb Coffman that will provide you with information about registering for the meeting and instructions on how to connect. Registration is required. Once registered you will receive a meeting link as well as a telephone call in number should you wish to use. You do not have to use the telephone if your computer is equipped with a speaker. If you do use the telephone, it is still recommended that you view on your computer. If you plan to call-in only, you still must register. Note that attendance is limited to the first 100 attendees, and you can sign up anytime.
We look forward to this next step in our journey as a Rotary Club—virtual meetings! We look forward to “seeing you” there!

Other Ways to Make-up a Meeting:
1. The board unanimously approved another avenue to get additional credit for attendance. In addition to attending a committee meeting, doing an online make-up, or visiting another Rotary Club you can now get one meeting credit for every new member prospect/guest you bring to a regular Monday meeting. The credit will apply during the same quarter in which you bring the potential member/guest. This is a great way to both make up attendance and recruit new members into our club. Contact Paul White with questions.
2. To do a make-up meeting on-line, click the link below: Rotary Club Online make-up location: http://www.rotaryeclubone.org/The on-line system is set up to provide a written confirmation of the make-up to the person who actually did the make-up. The Member is then responsible for providing the confirmation to their Rotary Club Administrator. Please forward a copy of your confirmation letter to me debcoffman@suddenlink.net to receive proper credit, also check the weekly newsletter to see if I have listed your make up and name, if not this indicates that I did not receive your make-up notice.
