Please join us in person or online to learn about FestivALL’s 19th Season. Our speaker will be Mackenzie Spencer, Executive Director, FestivALL Charleston. Introduced by Victor Grigoraci.
Mackenzie Spencer will showcase celebrating 10 days of Music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Art, Entertainment – ALL Fun and More. Our Capital City truly “Becomes A Work Of Art” by showcasing local, regional, national and international talent – a tradition that we have happily continued since the first 3-day festival in 2005. The dates this year are June 9-18 – ALL over town.
Mackenzie is the Executive Director of FestivALL Charleston. She is a long-time lover and advocate of the arts in Charleston and loves to see the wonder and excitement of others as they take part in all that FestivALL has to offer! She will also be joined by Alondra Johnson, who will play for us. Mackenzie previously served as the Communications Director for the City of Charleston and as Senior Marketing Coordinator for the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia. In addition to her career opportunities, she has served on a number of community volunteer committees.
She is a graduate of the University of Charleston, with a degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in applied leadership studies.
PS: The Free 36-page Official FestivALL Program Guide will be available for distribution at our meeting. “Let’s Get Cooking with Chef Paul” is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, as part of FestivALL at the Capitol Market. Beard Award Finalist Chef Paul Smith will be our Rotary speaker on July 17. Please join us for the Excitement!
